Lost for words

He's behind you!
A late arranged game at Crewe and Nantwich has certainly opened the festive panto season.
The game was split into two halfs and refereed by the widow Twanky, fresh from the Lyceum Theatre.
The game itself started well for Whitchurch but they fell behind from a strong runner in the Crewe and Nantwich team. Joe scored from the wing before C/N took the lead again, their second break away try. Ben C equalised after some great work from an unselfish Tom E. Dougs and Ben H combined for Ben to win the half for Whitchurch.
Enter centre stage, Widow Twanky, who really was not to be upstaged.
Whitchurch scored the next try from Ben C again after a great work from Charlie R.
Crewe and Nantich scored the next 4. The refereeing was beyond polite description, really unbelievable. Fair play to him though, he really was the difference.
The boys really should take heart from their performance as they were the better team.
